I bought this in May 2011 after years of putting up with B&D 3/8 drills. It's wonderful. I held the 8-amp model in a store the other day, this is quite a bit shorter and therefore less stress on your wrist when drilling horizontal. NOTE: the box of my current-version 234-6 states it's max rpm is 950, so the many debates here about RPM being too low for wood may be less relevant now.

This is a glorious tool and more drill than any non-contractor is likely to ever need.

This drill is an absolute work horse. Besides doing lots of hole drilling in different materials, I've used this drill to mix thinset mortar, grout, and joint compound....it just churns away and barely gets warm. After burning up two Dewalt drills, I decided to go with Milwaukee. The keyed chuck is the best on the market and you never need to worry about it slipping once you've secured it properly. The drill has a lot of torque, so use the additional handle and hold on tight! Great drill....great price!

I'm not a contractor so I can't attest to how it stands up with daily use, but with sporadic use this Milwaukee Magnum drill has been solid, sturdy, and reliable. The drill bits are easy to attach and remove. The cord gets in the way at times, but that's going to happen with any corded drill. 4 years later and it's still going strong. Recommended!

The aluminum/magnesium alloy on the gear case cuts down on the tool's weight, and the glass-reinforced nylon handle makes it a bit lighter, too--but let there be no doubts: when it comes to results, this is the same heavy-duty, ridiculously powerful, no-nonsense tool it's always been. I would strongly recommend this heater to all my friends and family. It is very quite and you don't even know that it is on(two thumbs up). I bought two and use them to heat my 1250sq home instead of using the central heating system. Using these two heaters lower my December elec bill and kept my home just as warm. The only way you can tell if the heater is on by the warm heat it produces. What best part is "silent running" and that they don't blow dust particles throughout the room like the central heating system.

I love my house. What I don't love, however, is how the family room has no hot/cold air returns which equals no heat or a/c flow. I live in Michigan which means I freeze in the winter.

Enter the Lasko space heater.

I turn it on and the display reads 55 degrees and within a few minutes, the room is considerably warmer. I love the automatic shutoff when it reaches the preset temperature, and how quickly it cools down when it is not actively emitting heat. I can't tell you exactly how much energy usage comes from this heater but I do know it is nowhere near what the old, radiator style, kerosene or oil filled heater I used before this one was (and that did nothing to warm up the room). Great price and great product!

I LOVE this heater! It is so impressive, it exceeded my expectations ten-fold! Our heat pump went out and our 2200 sf house gets very chilled. We have a fireplace but as many know, that only heats that room and only in front of the fireplace. We bought this unit (locally, sorry Amazon, I was desperate!) and placed it in our kitchen. My very large, ceramic tile floored kitchen is very much open to our living room, with vaulted ceilings, which is also open to a loft, a foyer, and a hallway to the front bedrooms and bathroom. That said, one can see how open of a space I'm expecting this little guy to heat being placed on my kitchen floor. It did the job beautifully, as if I hadn't provided it any challenge whatsoever! I was stunned.
Now, of course, the fireplace is helping as well, but this heater has made an amazing difference. (we were without the heat using the fireplace only for awhile before getting this, so I definitely had the time and temps to know the difference!)

Very worth every cent!

This item was poorly made and did not work. I understand that you get what you pay for, and the cheaply made aspect wouldn't be so bad... if it had worked at all. No matter what, it seemed to think it was in the 60's in my house. Which isn't accurate, *in the middle of summer* when my thermostat says it is between 70-80 in here.

I bought three of these - two for different areas inside the house, and one for outside. I returned them all, and was only credited for two. I'm not sure why they did not see fit to give me a full credit.

I installed the bracket on a porch post so I could see it through a window. Viewing distance was about ten feet and that is a bit too far to easily read the temperature. To best see the red line you also have to view from a fairly small range of angles. Viewing straight on the red line kinda disappears, at least from a distance. Anyway, after getting the bracket installed I noticed the red line was all broken up at the top. I then saw that the glass tube was cracked, I tossed it and got a digital.

This is absolutely one of the best purchases I've ever made. It is easy to assemble and take apart and has a very nice appearance. I have one small dog who doesn't care for children but we were having house guests for Thanksgiving who have children. I was able to extend this gate the full length and put it up between the living room and office doorway. The dogs were able to be a part of the visit because they could see what was going on but still had their own room and beds. It was easy to walk over and to slide out so they could come out for potty trips. It is very well constructed and very attractive in appearance. I will be using this for many years to come.

We purchased the large gate to span a width of 72" and keep two small dogs (8#'s and 22#s) our of our carpeted office. It fit perfectly. Looks nice, good quality, good construction, easy to assemble. It is also easy for adults to step over. We would highly consider purchasing another one like this, if we ever need it.

I purchased this gate because I wanted something to complement our home, be functional and look nice. This gate is lovely.

It has a nice wood finish and sturdy metal posts. I was concerned when I saw it that their little paws might get stuck between the posts but after they were behind it I saw otherwise. It would seem it is the same metal used for the training crates.

There are no problems with the strength of the design. We use it for just across the kitchen as we plan to get a smaller version for another area. Although it is capable of adjusting to a smaller size, it seems it would not be ideal to do very often. It is made for occasional adjusting not daily. There are large bolts that screw into the wood which may cause wear if adjusted too much.

There is no problem stepping over the gate.

We have chihuahuas of three different sizes. The largest is 12 lbs and might be able to jump over if she were interested but has never tried. I do not know for certain. All understand that when the gate is there, they go nowhere!

It is a just little heavy for me at 5'0" 96lbs.

I like that there are side corners that fold in and out. You can use it against a wall to coral a pup and it will have sides where he can look out. The only suggestion I would have is to add a little something to the corner panels so when moving the gate they do not flop out. We plan to add small magnets.

A good purchase.

We also own a comparable Britax booster, that although it has 5-point harness, this booster secures into the car much tighter/more securely. The LATCH just snap right in without much effort at all into our MINI Cooper and Volvo. Smart, modern design. Gets rock solid safety reviews, and from what I can tell from the box - is manufactured in Michigan. Son loves it. His only complaint is he wishes the armrests were a little bit longer.

Just received the Heart Shades chair in the mail and have it already together and installed in the car. Make sure you read the directions, which is easy because there isn't much. For instance, put the back onto the seat in the correct order (lft or rt side 1st, forget which) and slide the cupholder on from the front instead of just trying to snap it around the sides. The seat comes in a big box, pretty much already assembled. Just the back onto the seat and the cupholder to put on.

My 4, almost 5 yr old, was with me when we opened the box and the pictures don't do it justice. It is awesome in person. She hugged me and said I love you when seeing it! Didn't encounter an already opened box and used seat like the other poster. I hate when that happens and fortunately it did not for us. Seat material not like the economical Drift fabric, but the better, new waterproof, anti-bacterial stuff and it looked fresh, bright, new and lovely!

The chair is kind of heavy but not in a bulky way. If you have kids, it feels kind of like them in weight distribution when you pick this up and carry it in front of you with the headrest over your shoulder. So I carried it to the car and forgot to recline the seat to get the latches to pop out alot more in the back, but I still got it in. Super easy. Ridiculously easy.

I noticed the back never locks into any upright position. Just freely moves fwd and back. I wasn't sure if something was wrong with mine, or not, but I watched the clekinc videos on you tube and they don't seem to lock into place either. The guy is usually holding the back into place, so it is hard to figure out in most of the videos.

Only real con is the length of the seat from hip to knee. Really short, but I think all the seats that are not backless are like this. Oh, and I wish I had got an extra drink thingy (for the other side) when I bought the chair. If I want one now, I have to pay for it (9.99) AND the shipping, unless someone knows a site that sells these that will ship a $10 item for free.

Finally, sorry Amazon, without naming it directly, I got mine online at a .com site that ryhmes with calipers (and its something you put on baby bottoms), if you want to figure it out. Because it was the only site that I found that had a promo code for a discount and that discount could be used on the clek seats (with other sites, I was finding if there was a code, they didn't work on the Cleks), and they have free shipping, and they have free shipping BACK TO THEM if there is a problem, and the cust svc is stellar. I went to [...] and found a code for 15% off. If its expired, you may use the 15% code they gave me after my 1st order to give out to friends - LISA7516.

UPDATE - the back is supposed to move freely and is called a free pivot seatback or something like that. They just added a video to youtube at clekinc to show this after I and another poster inquired about it at their fb site. And, I noticed my daughter was stretching fwd and had her knees up and was doing all kind of aerobatics in the chair making me feel good about its roominess, but not so safe ... so now I just give the seatbelt a yank after I get her in and the seatbelt stays super tight against her. With the seatbelt guide on top and the bottom strap going under the arms of the chair, its just not possible to shimy out from under the belt like she used to do with her old britax no problem. Con - I have to unstrap and "unguide" the seatbelt from the seat each time to let the belt go all the way back so it can reset or 'unlock'.

And the reason I took off a star is because they give their seat only a 7 year expiration date. And they blame the plastic. The girl on the phone said "all plastic" will start to deteriorate and crack at the 7 yr mark and the reason you don't see old cracked car seats all over the place is because people get rid of them at 7 yrs old (like exactly) ... Yeah right. I'm not sure what upset me more, this stupid explanation or the expiration date. A follow up on clek's fb page had them telling me their salesperson was incorrect in that all plastics are not made alike.

I agree plastics differ. This is clear with those plastics that are used in car interiors, including seats, which go decades without decomposing, at least in a way that would compromise safety. I think others would agree as well. Do most freak out when they get in a car over 10 yrs old? If traveling with a child, in or out of a baby car seat or booster, as both are still attached to a regular adult car seat, do you see people refusing to let their family drive in such a car? No, so most would agree with you that plastics, like those used in car interiors, must differ from those in child car seats, or at least clek seats.

And, I agree that outdated technology that has been proved to be unsafe will inspire change in regulations (such as the 3-pt car seatbelt), as it should, however this is a govt thing, whereas the expiration date is something the mfgr is given free rein to come up with. Up until awhile ago, govt regulated this and 10 yrs was the recommended expiration. Then, without any significant studies, or anything in the way of independent study at all, when the mfrgrs were given the op, they changed it to 6, 7, 8 and now britax is slowly inching back up to 10 yrs with a 9 yr seat.

I understand clek is new and probably doesn't have the resources to study past a certain number of years, if it has the resources to conduct studies at all. But a real world expiration date is better than a made up one created not by study, but by the marketing depts of other car seat mfgrs.

Having said all that, one of the things that impressed me with clek seats is the metal frame. I would think this would give clek an edge over the competition with the seat's metal supporting the plastic so it is not so 'abused'. I would think this extra metal, which is missing from the competition would extend the expiration.
